Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially – because of the non-conformities listed below.

This statement was prepared in August 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by the team, supported by an automated audit that runs on every change to the site. The audit measures text contrast, touch target sizes, heading hierarchy, focus indicator visibility and how the page behaves at 150% text size.

One version of the site for everyone

We do not run a separate “version for blind users” and we do not intend to build one. There is a single website, designed against the international WCAG 2.2 level AA guidelines – the same content, the same addresses and the same features whether you look at it or listen to it through a screen reader.

This is not a cost saving but a condition of quality. A separate “text-only version” drifts from the main one at the first content change and within months becomes the worse of the two – out of date, thinner, and maintained by nobody. Accessibility has to be a property of the page everyone reads, not of a page next to it.

Simplified mode in the accessibility panel is not an exception to this: it is the same site with 3D scenes turned off, not a second version. No content disappears – an automated test compares the text available to a screen reader in both modes.

Accessibility features

An accessibility panel is available on every page – via the “Accessibility” button in the bottom-left corner, and from the keyboard as the second item in tab order, right after the “Skip to content” link.

The panel offers four settings: high contrast (raises text contrast to 7:1), text size (100%, 125%, 150%), reduced motion (turns animations off) and simplified mode (removes 3D scenes and the carousel, leaving the same content as text and images).

Your choices are stored in the browser and apply across the whole site. The site also respects your system preferences: increased contrast, reduced motion and forced colours – your own choice in the panel always takes precedence over them.

The whole site can be operated from the keyboard, has a visible focus indicator, a skip-to-content link and alternative text for every image that carries meaning.

Known non-conformities

The 3D scenes (the panel carousel on the home page and on the device page) are not exposed to screen readers as interactive objects. Reason: they present the shape and finish of the product, which is inherently visual information. Alternative: simplified mode replaces them with photographs carrying alternative text, and the full product specification is available as text on the device page.

Animated vector scenes illustrating how functions work have no textual equivalent describing the course of the animation. Reason: they illustrate content described in the adjacent text, so a description of the animation would repeat it. Alternative: every scene is preceded by a heading and a paragraph carrying the same information.

Background photographs are decorative and marked as such – screen readers skip them. In high contrast mode they are dimmed heavily so that text over them reaches 7:1, which means they become effectively invisible in that mode.

We reply within 14 days of receiving the report. If removing the barrier takes longer, our reply will state the date by which we will do so.
